Our Lessons
Purr-fect Pedalling lessons are normally one-to-one although it may be possible to train small groups with a similar level of ability together. We can also offer a package of training for complete families - please enquire.
All our training is tailored to your individual needs but is based on the new National Standard for Cycle Training which caters for everyone from complete beginners to advanced training for dealing with busy roads and difficult conditions.
There is no pass or fail in cycle training but our instructors will inform you of the level within the National Standard that you have reached and what the aims of further training would be.
Subject to suitable places being available, training will normally start from your home. Basic training is done at a suitable off-road location. As your skills develop it will move on to quiet roads with advanced training being done on busy roads.
Training can take place on your own bike which must be roadworthy. However we are usuallyable to provide a suitable bike for an additional charge.

Cycle training is an investment which will serve you for a lifetime. Once you have acquired the skills to ride a bike and/or cycle confidently on the road you will not forget them! Whether giving or receiving, cycle training makes an ideal present that will last.
Cost of one hour lesson using own bike £20
Cost of one hour lesson with a bike provided £25
Cost of two hour lesson £35 (own bike) or £40 (with bike provided)
Two hour lessons are most suited for on-road lessons and are not normally recommended for complete beginners
There is an additional charge if we train outside our normal operating area.
Payment is by cash or cheque payable at the time of the lesson.
